Plot synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Isabella Swan moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie. There, she finds herself drawn to a mysterious classmate, Edward Cullen, who is revealed to be a 108-year-old vampire in the form a seventeen-year old boy. Although Edward discourages the romance at first, they soon fall deeply in love. But when the arrival of three nomadic vampires puts Bella’s life in danger, Edward and his family put their lives at stake to save her before it’s too late.

When Summit Entertainment reinvented itself as a full-service studio in April 2007, it began development of a film adaptation of the 2005 vampire novel Twilight written by Stephenie Meyer,

The Cullens as portrayed by Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser, Robert Pattinson, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone.
- Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, a seventeen-year-old girl who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington.
- Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, a 108-year-old vampire who appears seventeen. He is Bella’s love interest.
- Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Cullen, a four-hundred-year-old vampire who looks to be in his late 20s. He serves as a doctor and is the father figure of the Cullen family.
- Elizabeth Reaser as Esme Cullen, Carlisle’s vampire wife and a mother figure to the Cullen family.
- Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, a member of the Cullen family who can see the future.
- Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale, also a member of the Cullen family who can control emotions and is Alice’s eternal love.
- Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale, a vampire member of the Cullen family who is described as the most beautiful person alive.
- Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, a member of the Cullen family who is described as extremely muscular. He is Rosalie’s husband and true love.
