Midnight Sun is an expected companion novel to the book Twilight by author Stephenie Meyer.

Plot introduction

The plot of Midnight Sun will be parallel to Twilight. However, Midnight Sun will be written from the perspective of Edward Cullen, the vampire with whom Bella Swan falls in love. The first chapter of this novel (which is still subject to changes by the author) can be found on Meyer’s official website. The edited version of this first chapter has also been included in the UK release of Meyer’s first adult novel, The Host, when purchased at a Borders store. Also, in Australia, it has been included in the Special Edition of Twilight.
